BIOGRAPHY

Aged 18, Ella Hose is the youngest female in the Australian team for the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships. The Victorian thrower has been named in the F37 discus and shot events.

Last summer, with the world championships on the horizon, in March Ella put her first 10 metre throw at the Victorian Championships, reaching 10.59m. It became a new standard for her, going over 10 metres in two of her next three competitions, including in the pressure environment of the National Championships.

In June the teenager was named in her first National team, for the World Para Athletics Championships.

Ella is guided by legendary coach Gus Puopolo, a seven-time National hammer throw champion and two-time Commonwealth Games representative,
