Corey Anderson had a fantastic start to his career when in 2019 he twice raised the F38 Javelin throw world record, the second occasion when winning the World Para Athletics Championships title in Dubai. His throws were 55.14m, then 56.28m. In 2020 he raised that record to 58.18m. At the delayed Paralympics in Tokyo he was fourth with a throw of 54.48m.

This year he was named in his third Australian team for his second world championships, to be held in Paris in July.

Corey holds many Australian throwing records, both senior and junior in the shot/discus and javelin.

Corey has studied a Certificate III in Personal Training. Born and raised in the Sydney’s Sutherland it is no surprise he supports the Cronulla Sharks NRL team.
