Athletics Australia is aiming to develop a Relays/Sprint approach that will enable Australia to be represented in all relay finals (i.e. Men’s and women’s 4x100m, 4x400m and Mixed 4x400m Relay) at the 2032 Olympic Games, including two medal winning performances, setting the foundation for long-term sustainable Relays/Sprints success.
Athletics Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest for the three positions of Athletics Australia High Performance 4x100m Coach, 4x400m Coach, and 4x100m Technical Advisor. The initial appointment will be through to the 31st of October 2024.

1. To plan, initiate and deliver a sustainable and consistent National Relay Program through to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.
2. Performance Goals
a) 2032 – Teams in all five finals, 4x100m (M&W), 4x400m (M&W) Mixed 4x400m – Achieve 2 Medals.
b) 2028 – Teams in all five finals 4x100m (M&W), 4x400m (M&W) Mixed 4x400m – Achieve 1 Medal.
c) 2024 – 3 Teams selected – Achieve 1 Medal.
