The VenuesWest Australian Masters Athletics Championships are underway in Perth and continue until Sunday 29 April.
The Championships are being held at Western Australian Athletics Stadium (WA Athletics Stadium) which played host to the 2016 World Masters Athletics Championships.
There are also non-stadia events for the Cross Country and Road Walk which are being held in two areas, Alderbury Reserve and Perry Lakes Reserve.
The eight-kilometre cross country course of four laps will be held in the Alderbury and Perry Lakes Reserves, located within walking distance from the main stadium in Floreat.
Perry Lakes Reserve is also the location for the ten-kilometre walk. The two-kilometre circuit is a relatively flat, well shaded and picturesque course.
The Championships cater for all athletes, male and female, including para-athletes, in five year age groups starting at thirty years.
Entrants include two in the over 90s as Jim Sinclair and Heather Lee are on the startlist.
Also entered is Allan Cook (pictured) who ran for Australia at a Masters event at the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing in 2015.
