2017 Australian Cross Country Championships

The 2017 Australian Cross Country Championships will descend on the City of Wollongong in 2017, with the Kembla Joggers excited to welcome the nation's best distance runners to their purpose-built cross country facility.
Athletes aged under 14, under 16, under 18, under 20 and open will have the chance to take home the gold medal for their respective age group.
“The Kembla Joggers and the City of Wollongong are excited to welcome distance runners from across the nation to the Australian Cross Country Championships later this year,†Neil Barnett, Kembla Joggers President, said.
“We are very fortunate to have a fantastic purpose-built cross-country facility here that will provide the perfect setting for great racing. We will work tirelessly with Athletics Australia to make the championships an event to remember and we are sure athletes will enjoy every minute of competing here."
Date: Saturday 26 August
Location: Kembla Joggers Cross Country Park, Wollongong
Team Sizes:
- Under 14, Under 16, Under 18: 16 athletes per age group and gender can be nominated to participate in the Team competition.
- Under 20 and Open: No restriction although Member Associations will need to nominate athletes from each age group and gender in their State or Territory for eligibility to earn Team points.
Entries for all age groups are managed by Athletics Australia Member Associations.
