Special Guests

Terseus Liebenberg (South Africa)
Coach of 2024 Olympic Silver Medallist Jo-Ane Van Dyk, Terseus brings decades of expertise in elite throws coaching. Formerly head coach at NWU in Potchefstroom, he hosted renowned European athletes and coaches, including legends like Jan Železný, Tero Pitkämäki, and Andrea Thorkildsen. His coaching accolades include guiding 1997 World Champion Marius Corbett and 2016 Olympic Bronze Medallist Sunette Viljoen.

Kirsten Hellier (New Zealand)
A coaching powerhouse, Kirsten guided Valerie Adams to multiple World Championship and Olympic triumphs. More recently, she has coached Olympians Tori Peeters and Connor Bell, continuing her legacy of developing world-class athletes.

Hamish MacDonald (Australia)
As Athletics Australia’s seated throws lead, Hamish brings a wealth of experience as a six-time Paralympian and coach at three Paralympic Games. His expertise in adaptive athletics is unmatched.

Mike Barber (Australia)
The lead coach at the National Throws Centre, Mike has guided athletes like Kelsey-Lee Barber and Jayden Sawyer to world championship titles in javelin. A seasoned national team coach for Throws and Combined Events since 2019, Mike is at the forefront of elite throws coaching in Australia.
